The Boat House is ten steps to the beach, nestled one street back from Crag Path, behind Aldeburgh's South Tower Lookout and iconic beachfront houses. There are charming partial sea views from every window at the front of the house, looking out over the little dolls house perched on Crag path, and lovely Aldeburgh rooftop views from the guest bedroom and bathroom. BEDROOMS 1. The Master Bedroom has a lovely big window with angled views out to the beach and sea. The comfortable bed is king size. 2. A second master bedroom features a very comfortable European king bed. Up high on the third floor, this room has lovely lofty light and is the best room to enjoy the pink Aldeburgh sunrise. 3. A guest bedroom sits at the top of the house. There are two cabin beds with drawers to accommodate overnight guests. LIVING ROOM The cosy living room has a fireplace, comfortable seating, internet enabled TV and a record player with a collection of records. The double doors lead out to a large suntrap courtyard that gets wonderful afternoon light. KITCHEN The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one might need for an escape to the seaside - olive oil, basic condi (max text)
We are a young family who moved from Australia to England to spend time with Harry's mum and dad in Aldeburgh. We live in London. Every chance we get we love to escape to beautiful Aldeburgh to build happy memories with family and friends. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
The The Boat House is located in the idilic seaside town of Aldeburgh on the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coast. This coastal gem is famous for the Aldeburgh Music Festival, Benjamin Britten, and arguably the best fish & chips, and ice-cream in England. The shingle beach is lined with traditional fisherman's huts and spotted with coloured boats. It can be enjoyed all year round by people of all ages. It is home to Maggi Hambling's much loved shell sculpture. What can I do in Aldeburgh? Aldeburgh has lots of activities for people of all ages. From the enviable selection of art galleries, bookshops, boutiques and eateries, to the wonderful festivals held throughout the year. Beautiful walks, sailing and golf are but a mere few of the favourite activities to enjoy.
