Our view was exactly as shown - excellent. The sitting room/kitchen area has a large window facing the harbor. The view was spectacular. The restaurant/bar is just downstairs next door and the seafood chowder was amazing. Very peaceful place. We love the water - looking at it, walking beside it...would definitely stay here again.

There is so much to do in Anstruther; Museums, Boat Trips, Costal Path Walks, Cycle Routes and an abundance of Bars, Coffee Shops, Restaurants and Gift Shops. Fun To be had by all! A family run Business with a passion for people. Fresh cooking, Great Wines, Beers and spirits served by attentive and knowledgable staff. A lively business with popular local bar offering Live music, theme nights and special events such as comedy, Wine tasting and Art demonstrations. The Boathouse is a local and popular bar and eatery with poeple of all ages. food served morning noon and night. dog friendly bar where pets are treated just as well as their owners. all dogs are offered a dish of water when they come in as we understand even our canine companions are parched after a long day on their feet!!

The Anstruther Boathouse is located in the heart of Anstruther and boasts unrivalled panoramic sea views. All rooms are en-suite with either a shower or a bath. We are attached to The Anstruther Boathouse Bistro Larder and Bar which offers a sunny and well-sheltered beer garden where you can sit and enjoy a quiet drink or have a meal with friends in the glorious sunshine. Guests will receive great service from all of our staff. We are a family-friendly organisation with a passion for local produce (see our menu) and local talent (mainly our staff and local musicians but also includes local chefs, fishermen, bakers and artists). What makes our property special? The views, the service, the location, the locals, the beer garden, the staff, the music, the beers wines and spirits and much much more **Please note** Our rooms are located up a flight of stairs. Our staff, where possible will offer to carry bags to your room and handrails are in place. However, for the disabled/elderly or those with mobility issues, access to the rooms may be difficult.
