We have a great team of holiday cottage professionals who have lived in the area for a combined number of 60 years and are more than happy to share their knowledge and advice on where to explore, whether you are here for a holiday, working, or studying. We are here to look after you before, during and after your stay. We operate to high standards of property care. We require full electrical, gas and other safety certificates to be updated annually by the owners. Our team is Cristina, Maddy, and Mandie (plus a platoon of housekeepers and handymen and women who keep our holiday cottages in tip top condition). The Bolthole is a charming two bedroom holiday cottage situated in the Oxfordshire village of Nuneham Courtney. The village is six miles south of Oxford and 22 miles north west of Reading. This exceedingly pretty country cottage which has been styled by the owner with a carefully chosen mix of fabrics and furnishings. The entrance to the cottage is at the rear garden of the property. The country-style kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for a short or long stay; quality chinaware, cooking equipment, electric induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer. The quartz work surfaces offer a fantastic workspace. There is a cosy dining room with a table and chairs for three guests. The living room has been styled with a range of colours and fabrics to create a homely feel; the comfortable sofa and easy chairs are perfect for relaxing in front of the flat screen TV after a busy day. On the ground floor there is the family bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and wash basin. The bedrooms are located on the first floor, please note that the stairs are steep. For something special you can head to Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in nearby Great Milton, or the Crazy Bear restaurant in nearby Stadhampton.
