In the unspoiled village of Broadwoodwidger, in the grounds of a handsome former Vicarage which dates back to the 19th century is The Coach House. The surrounding 3 acres of grounds, from which there are spectacular views of the local Devon countryside, are a haven of peace and quiet. The cottage has welcoming feel; the lounge/diner has wooden floors, a wood burning stove, and pretty window seats which look over your own private, gated garden. Also on the ground floor are a neat kitchen and recently refurbished bathroom. On the first floor are two bedrooms: the light and airy master double and a single room which has distant views over the adjacent fields. The Coach House is ideal for walkers and those who love to be outside. Nearby Roadford Lake offers an array of watersports, angling, cycling, walking trails and a lakeside cafe with stunning views. Note: Babies and children from 0 to 12 years not allowed. Wi-Fi can be accessed in The Old Vicarage (by arrangement with the owner) and at points in the grounds. There is also good coverage for most 3G or 4G networks. Note: Pets are charged at 30.00 per pet, per week (or short break)Note: For any holiday starting between 16th September and 27th May, a heating supplement of 20 will be added to the cost of your holiday.

Lifton is a small village in the upper Tamar Valley, close to Launceston and the passing A30 road into Cornwall. This pretty community, once sitting astride the old A30 London to Penzance trunk road, is blessed with a village shop and post office, a superb pub and 3 top quality restaurants. At the far end of the village is an award winning farm shop/pick-your-own complex with a good bakery and on-site restaurant. Well placed for visiting anywhere in the South West, Dartmoor is 20 minutes away by car, Bodmin Moor is also 30 minutes and all of the major beaches and Cornish holiday attractions can be reached in under 45 minutes.
