This Grade II listed end-terraced stone cottage, formerly The Crown Inn, is found in the centre of the historic town of Dolgellau within the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage has retained its beams throughout and has a wealth of other original features. The cottage, built around the beginning of the 18th Century, has a kitchen/diner with a beautiful feature stone wall, solid pine floor, fridge/freezer, slim dishwasher, and dining table and chairs. A utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The spectacular lounge has the original Welsh slate floor, a large beamed inglenook fireplace with multi-fuel stove, flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player and mini CD player. Upstairs are the two bedrooms - a master king size room and a double, both with feature fireplaces. The tiled bathroom (upstairs) has a shower over the bath. WiFi available and landline phone. Cars can pull up at the front of the cottage to unload, with street parking nearby or in the public pay-and-display car park 50 metres away.

Neighborhood info

No garden but ideally placed for excellent local walking with the Cadair Idris range, and walking paths in the Snowdonia National Park. Coed y Brenin Mountain Biking Centre just under 10 miles away with cycle routes suitable for all ages. Orienteering also available at the Centre. Pony trekking and sandy beaches 10 miles away. Inn 50 yards away serving home-made food and recommended by the owner. Full range of pubs, small grocery shops, independent shops and restaurants in the town.
