Welcome to Shortflatt Tower, a 13th century historic country mansion and one of Northumberland’s most beautiful residences, set in idyllic surroundings with well-tended walled gardens and ancient woodland. Set in a private estate, we offer comfortable elegance in an area of natural beauty. The grade 1 listed courtyard cottages are located in the curtilage of Shortflatt Tower. The stables and buildings have been carefully and lovingly restored and converted into 6 luxurious cottages with a mix of 2,3 and 5 bedrooms.

The Footmans cottage has a large spacious sitting room and separate kitchen diner looking west to Shaftoe Cragg. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with rainfall shower en-suite and one with a beautiful roll-top copper bath.

With a variety of areas to stroll or sit and relax in the garden and parkland, it is truly a wonderful space to explore. The Ancient tree-lined drive is a kilometre long, providing great privacy and uninterrupted views across the estate. The village of Belsay is just a short drive away.
