Everything. So many thoughtful touches... the welcome basket, the lit fire, the Easter decorations, and the comfiest bed we've ever slept in. Outside is a little oasis of calm amidst lovely garden lights. We'll be back.

The Hideaway is a unique boutique countryside getaway in a beautiful well situated rural location 5 minutes from Shepton Mallet, 10 mins from the historic city of Wells and just 35 mins from Bath and Bristol. Totally self contained accommodation set up for a couple or single person, where we try to bring a touch of luxury and relaxation for our guests. Quality high end furnishings, bedding & complimentary products throughout. Comprising open plan double bedroom with 1 King Size bed and living room attractively decorated with open fireplace (lovely to watch when falling asleep at night ) Separate galley kitchen with all mod cons. Cloud like bedding and separate modern bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Stunning, private outdoor spaces with garden, sundeck, hilltop Firepit, and seating area, wood fuelled BBQ, nature walks and views ! ALL for the privacy of our guests to enjoy.
I love travelling and staying in beautiful places. Hopefully I have brought some of these touches to The Hideaway plus a little bit more. A stay away is somewhere where I want guests to feel relaxed, spoilt and leave feeling refreshed !
A very well situated rural location just 5 minutes from Shepton Mallet at the foot of The Mendip Hills, 10 mins from the beautiful, historic city of Wells, which is full of independent shops, cafes, Cathedral and twice weekly wonderful markets, just 35 mins from the cultural cities of Bath and Bristol. Glastonbury 15mins, Longleat, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge and so many other attractions in our wonderful area. We have a 'tried and tested' in room guide of places to visit, eat out, shop or explore. This South West area of England really has something for everyone.
