Located in the heart of Arbroath, the former "Keptie Hotel" has been transformed into a set of modern and stylish boutique apartments. Seconds from the Train station and bustling Westport, with an eclectic mix of pubs, eateries and retail shops. The space is perfectly equipped to cater for your stay in Arbroath. it's also a short walk from the harbour and very centrally located for easy walking to all of the towns attractions. there is a private garden at the rear of the property & a real sun trap when the weather permits. all linen & towels are supplied. EPC rating = C
the town of arbroath nestles on the east coast of scotland, midway between dundee & montrose. it was originally known as aberbrothock because of its location on the brothock burn, but by the mid-nineteenth century the more colloquial spelling of arbroath was being used. near the harbour stands the signal tower, an elegant complex of regency buildings, which now houses the arbroath museum. this museum tells the story of arbroath and its people.coastal walking is an angus speciality. at the northeast edge of the town lie the seaton cliffs. you can take a walk from here to the old fishing village of auchmithie. designated paths, along the cliffs, give views across the north sea. you can see the Bell rock lighthouse from the window, it is situated 11 miles out to sea and is the world's oldest surviving sea-washed lighthouse. It was built between 1807 and 1810 by Robert Stevenson on the Bell Rock in the North Sea. Standing 35 metres tall, its light is visible from 35 statute miles inland make sure to also visit the incredible local golf courses nearby, montrose, carnoustie & arbroath! Montrose is the 4th oldest golf course in the world and a golfers haven!
