A convenient escape to the country; popular for focused work trips, convenient mini breaks, family holidays or longer term lets. Our self contained countryside cottage offers a calm, stylish space. Tastefully decorated to an high standard. Sleeps up to 5 people. 2 double beds & 1 single. Well equipped kitchen & dining area. Outside space & garden area. Super rural walks but only 35 minutes by train to London. River Thames nearby. Pets welcome but there is an additional charge. Stunningly peaceful, wake to bird song each day.
Wife & mother of two teenage girls, CEO of local rural business, Army Reservist, ex GB athlete and so particularly enthusiastic about countryside and sport. Cant live without: Family & travel Horses & Hounds Mountains Books Music We are a respectful and clean living family who enjoy simple pleasures, music and sport in particular. We travel according to our budget but comfortably and would be happier paying a little more for a good service. Clean accommodation is very important to us!
Beautiful rural location perfect for walks and bike rides. Ample parking and outside space. Pets (dogs, horses) allowed on request and by separate negotiation. Accommodation sleeps 5 and there is ample room for a cot bed. 2 Bedrooms, 1 double + 1 single (small). There is also a sofa bed in the living room (which is described as 'bedroom 3') that is particularly comfortable and sleeps 2 very easily. There is a lawn/garden area that is solely for your use and ample outside furniture to use. We are very close to the river Thames and communication links to London and local market towns but hidden away in a delightfully rural part of West Berkshire. We are surrounded by incredible walks and the River Thames is only 2 miles away (amazing river swimming 2.5 miles from the house).
