Staff were friendly and helpful.! Location within 5-10 minutes walk of Windsor castle a huge bonus, parking on site. The unexpected surprise of a complimentary drink for each guest was beyond what we expected. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. It took a while to come out as obviously freshly cooked, but extra toast tea/ coffee was in abundance. It really was worth the wait. We will be back and happy to recommend to others

The room is convenient with parking and 24 hour access. Handy to have the Toby carvery there for breakfast and a cheap dinner. There is coffee and tea making facilities in the room and conveniently placed plugs for drying hair and charging phone etc. The cleaners were great, clean towels daily and restocked the room.

super comfy and cosy, staff were absolutely incredible. both receptionists we saw and the ladies serving us breakfast were lovely. the food served was amazing too, good sized portions for the menu and the buffet food was great. would definitely come again!

The hotel was perfectly located for us as we arrived by train and we visited Windsor castle. The staff were professional, polite and helpful. They kindly looked after our bags when we arrived early and again when we left late. This was a tremendous help to us. We loved the terrace where we had our evening drinks and morning coffee.

    Visited for an evening guided tour of Windsor Castle, which was a wonderful 2 hour experience in a group of 30. Main day, we spent mainly in Windsor doing the Queens Walk which is a helpful way of seeing historic Windsor and the Long Walk. August obviously very busy time, so booking , if possible, for restaurants is recommended. We ate over the Thames Bridge in Eton - very good curry at the Golden Curry

    Wow! This is a STUNNING location to visit.

    Wow! This is a STUNNING location to visit. You really cannot believe what your eyes are seeing! a MUST visit if you are near London, worth the drive or train over. GREAT venue!!! Well organized and while it was crowded I did not feel smooshed.

    Absolutely go see the castle and I think you need two nights if you really want to get feel of Windsor , A day for Castle (recommended if you can do it on Friday not Saturday when so busy !) A day to just wander around lots of cute shops , restaurants and other places nearby I wish I day seen . Also , cross the bridge to Eaton . So sweet this village

    great place to visit, you dont really need to to go into the castle, lots to see without going to that expense. If you have 2 to 3 hours ....walk 'the long walk' from the gates of windsor to the monument to gKing George3rd on his horse some 2.7 miles in a straight line one way from the gates...and then back again.... 5.4 miles in total... but its a must...very pleaseant with great views when you get there.

    Great location with the property being just what we needed.

    Great location with the property being just what we needed. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 toilets and a small basin. There is 1 shower room and toilet with basin downstairs. If you want to enjoy Windsor, this is the perfect location. % mins from everything!

    First visit to Windsor for us.

    First visit to Windsor for us. Would return as plenty to see and do. We visited on a day the Castle was closed and so it was relatively quiet which was very pleasant. We walked the self guided Queen’s walk which was a great introduction to the town. Would recommend that short walk (4 miles approx) which is available on the Windsor website. Lords of places to see and things to do even when the Castle is closed.

    The hotel is lovely, the staff were all fantastic from stepping into the reception being greeted by Ishmael , a great young man , remembered hubby's birthday next day wished him a happy birthday , all the staff were lovely , nothing to much trouble ,also our dog Stanley loved his stay, definitely be back great location to for the long walk , windsor town and the Castle, food at hotel was yummy , i had the ceasar salad was so tasty, breakfast was tasty to 🙂 Karen lidstone

    I really don’t know why this hotel gets such bad reviews. Yes it is dated but it’s also cheap and the view from the hotel to the castle is incredible. The staff were nothing but amazing when we were there very attentive to my little boys. And she’s with Clay the bathroom is clean and the bed was comfortable for two nights.

    Highly recommend, we arrived very early into Heathrow from Australia and went straight to hotel not expecting that our rooms would be ready but were given access immediately and made to feel very welcome. Staff are lovely, bed comfy and area is so pretty and easy walk to Windsor castle.
