My wife Christine and I purchased this former police station and magistrates court in 1982 and turned it into our family home. The main building dates back to 1850.
Christine is a nurse at Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge and Les runs a small computer business building and repairing PC's and providing support to individuals and local businesses. Now "semi-retired" he used to photograph large panoramic school groups and even owned his own aeroplane. He keeps very busy with a number of other interests.
Melbourn is a large village in South Cambridgeshire and The Old Magistrates Court is situated right in the centre of the village in a very quiet lane, and very private and secluded. We are ideally placed for visitors to Duxford, various local wedding venues, Cambridge and of course business people working in Melbourn and Royston.
