Cottage was lovely, perfect for our short break. Location was right in the town centre so easy to get to anywhere we needed. The hosts had thought of everything! There was nothing more we could have asked for. From supplying tea, coffee, sugar and...

Centrally located family-friendly character cottage in the picturesque market town of Framlingham. Within walking distance of local pubs, independent shops and restaurants, and Framlingham Castle, immortalised as the 'Castle on the Hill'.Spacious living room with seating for four adults, including double sofa bed, wall mounted TV and electric fire. A glazed door leads down two steps into the dining room with beamed ceiling. The dining room has a table for 6 and sideboard. Under stair cupboard for general storage. An archway leads into the galley kitchen with ceramic hob cooker, oven, washing machine and large fridge freezer. Rear door into the courtyard with table and chairs. There is access via gate to the street for bicycles etc. The small shed has a BBQ with charcoal and fire lighters, as well as the waste bins. Upstairs has a double bedroom with chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, bedside lamp tables and chair. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed and corner storage unit. Desk and chair on the landing with power sockets and small window. Family bathroom with shower over bath, separate WC. Bedding is provided for all beds including the sofa bed. Hand and bath towels provided. Shower gel is provided and hand soaps throughout. Tea towels and washing up supplies provided. Please note the courtyard is a shared space with our other guest house but split with diamond trellis to provide separated outdoor areas for each property.
It is great meeting the visitors who come to stay in our home. We enjoy holidays and have tried to think of everything to make your stay with us thoroughly enjoyable. We love family time, holidays and exploring, history and old buildings, the coast, wild swimming and countryside dog walks! Entry to the houses is via a key box. I am available by text, phone or email for any assistance required.
Small quiet market town in rural Suffolk. There are regular buses between Ipswich and Framlingham, including via Woodbridge. The nearest railway station is Wickham Market about 7 miles away, with a 'Katch' shuttle bus available to Framlingham (booking required). Local taxi firms are also available. There is free short term parking in the street outside during the day, and this allows free overnight parking too. There is also a carpark about 200 yards away, and this currently has no parking charges.
