Boasting uninterrupted and far reaching views of the Esplanade and the renowned Exe Estuary with its ever-changing scenery. Exmouth is a charming traditional English sea-side holiday destination which is easily accessed by road from the M5 or by the railway into the town, and offers a variety of local all-year-round activities such as walking, cycling, bird watching, sailing, kiting, fishing or simply relaxing. The exceptional outlook combined with the cosy features make this a perfect retreat in any season. Kick off your shoes to fully appreciate the under-floor heating beneath the oak living room flooring and carpeted bedrooms. Exmouth has an excellent selection of shops, restaurants and inns within a short level walk, although you probably won't want to stray too far from the sunny, south facing balcony! There is access via lift or stairs to second floor. The entrance hall leads into a light and airy open plan living room with floor to ceiling windows and patio doors leading to large balcony directly overlooking the estuary and beach. There is an open plan luxury kitchen with NEF appliances, dining area and separate balcony. A master bedroom with a luxury super-king size bed and views of the estuary and an en-suite bathroom with bath, walk-in rain shower and W.C. The twin bedroom has a people-watching outlook with partial Marina views. Family bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC. Energy efficient quality Kawneer windows and patio doors provide excellent heat and noise insulation. Ultra fast wifi included. Parking: Private off-street parking for one car in designated space, EV charging is available and can be added as an extra on your booking. Please note: Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays have no control over Marina Management maintenance that can occur from time to time. Please note this property is not suitable for children under 12 years old. In case of a fire, evacuation is via the stairs.

Neighborhood info

On the eastern bank of the estuary of the River Exe, Exmouth has everything required for a relaxing break. It is a thriving coastal town with a nationally renowned RSPB bird sanctuary, long sandy beach, superb coastal walking along the South West Coast Path, close to Exeter and with much to do and see - this all contributes to the town's attraction. In addition to boat days, lazing on the beach or taking the ferry up the estuary or to Dawlish Warren nature reserve, there's always Otterton Mill, Bicton Park stately home and gardens, the Donkey Sanctuary at nearby Sidmouth, Woodbury Common, the cathedral city of Exeter, and the all absorbing Jurassic Coast with its famous fossil deposits stretching eastwards into Dorset. In terms of visitor attractions and coastal lifestyle you won't find much better than Exmouth.
