Aviemore is a well-known and popular holiday destination with beautiful scenery and an abundance of things to do for all ages - a year-round destination, snowsports being the popular winter activity and walking, climbing, biking, and other activities the main summer draw. The village is also an excellent family base, with many award-winning attractions in the town and surrounding area and a great selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The magnificent hills and surrounding area are home to 25% of the most threatened species in the UK, so you will never run out of things to see and do.
