Friendly Family Country Inn full of charm and character. The Star Inn dates back 300 years.

Property info

The Star Inn is set in stunning countryside. We have large gardens which feature outdoor eating areas, vine covered seating area and BBQ, horses and exceptional views. In the summer months we host Aunt Sally, which is a traditional game played between rival pub teams. We host fetes and classic car shows. The Star Inn has a large private car park to the rear of the property. Inside The Star is all you would expect from a 300 year old Inn. Displayed on the walls are pictures of the last 150 years of Sulgrave, in the colder months we have a roaring fire in the bar area. We also have a restaurant which seats 32 and an additional snug area to seat 12 with a leather sofa to relax on with a pint. PLEASE NOTE: The Star Inn closes for Food and Drink from 3.30pm on Sundays and reopens at 6pm on Tuesdays. Our B&B is still open for you to stay here and we do accommodate your breakfast. There is no lunch and evening Food and Drink Service available from the pub during these times. We do have alternative eating places within a 5 mile radius.

The Star Inn is located in the quiet picturesque village of Sulgrave. Surrounded by fields and is an ideal walking location. The Star Inn is an ideal quiet base for surrounding areas like Banbury, Brackley, Silverstone and easy access to the M40. We have a community run shop that is open 7 days a week. Sulgrave is also home to The Sulgrave Manor.
