Nice pub with friendly owners. Rooms were above the pub and were very comfortable. Nice shower stall with hot water. Very substantial breakfast was included. The full English sets you up for the day.

Set in the idyllic countryside on the Lincolnshire Leicestershire border, the Tollemache Arms is an attractive stone built 19th century country inn and restaurant in the beautiful village of Buckminster located between Colsterworth and Melton Mowbray on the B676 just 4 miles from the A1. Within easy reach of the market towns of Stamford, Melton Mowbray and Grantham, the picturesque countryside of the Vale of Belvoir and England’s smallest county Rutland, the Tollemache Arms provides an ideal base to explore the local area with country houses including a castle, fishing, a nature reserve with water sports activities, walks, cycling routes and even a gliding club all nearby. All the rooms are en-suite with and underfloor heating, heated towel rails, illuminated mirrors, dual head showers and complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms. All the en-suite rooms have a comfortable king size or double bed, a flat screen led smart television with free-view, tea and coffee making facilities, ample wardrobe space and hair dryers.
