This 17th century inn is situated in the beautiful village of Turvey, a quintessential English village just 10 miles (16 km) west of Bedford and just a short drive from Northampton and Milton Keynes. Situated just off the A428, the Three Cranes’ convenient location means it has good access to the region’s major road network. Situated in the heart of this picturesque village, this small country inn is also a great base from which to visit nearby Castle Ashby and Woburn Abbey with its impressive safari park, populated with elephants, giraffes and lions. There are 5 bedrooms, each of which has a country inn style. All rooms have a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The inn's restaurant offers freshly prepared meals and a choice of fine wines. The bar has open fireplaces and serves an extensive range of real ales.

Cliff and Hayley manage the Three Cranes providing a caring, individual and courteous service to our guests.

Property information

The Three Cranes is a Grade II listed, mock Tudor, building which has been caringly renovated over the last 3 years by the current owners to a high standard. We are located next to the Church at the centre of the village. We specialise in providing freshly cooked food with a good variety of choice as well as a good choice of ales and wines. Our 5 bedrooms are individually designed providing for comfortable accommodation. Two bedrooms are accessible from the car park offering private access as well as easier access for the less mobile.

Neighbourhood information

The Three Cranes is located in the centre of Turvey, a thriving Bedfordshire village, off the A428 between Bedford and Northampton. Turvey has plenty of local walks, access to the river Ouse for fishing and historic sites to visit. We are close to Bedford, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Woburn as well as being in easy reach of Cambridge and London by train.
