Lovely location with fantastic outlook from most rooms. Very well decorated. Having an ensuite room was a bonus. Nice to have toiletries in the bathrooms and the welcome items in the kitchen were great. Friendly street. Literally a 2 minute walk to the community run pub, which serves good food and drink. We would recommend this property to others.

The property is a mid- Victorian former quarrymen’s cottage that in 2022 was completely refurbished to provide very high quality holiday accommodation. It is fitted and furnished to an excellent standard. It has fine open mountain views to both the front and rear. There is an enclosed garden at the rear ideal for children and dogs. Garden furniture and a BBQ are provided. There is off road parking at the rear with a lockable bike shed. There are two double bedrooms (1 with en-suite shower & WC) and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds that are specified to take up to 20 stone (130kg) each bunk.
We are experienced hosts who live locally and run select holiday homes here and in Scotland.
The property is situated within the stunning Snowdonia National Park in a small friendly village. There is a pub that does good food within 2 minutes walk and a general stores just 250m away. Just 2 miles away is the former slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog recently awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO. The area is a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts, with mountain bike trails, climbing, kayaking, and a multiplicity of walking trails. Only a few minutes away is Llechwedd Slate Caverns and Zip World which makes a great day out for both adults and children. Betws Y Coed, known as the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park is only a short drive away.Also,close by is Porthmadog home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways and the Black Rock Sands. Harlech is a short drive away, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its imposing castle and simply superb beaches. The very famous Italianate village of Portmerion - brilliant for ‘Prisonner’ fans- is only a 10mins drive away.
