Ty Mynydd Lodge
Ty Mynydd Lodge is a family run bed & breakfast, approximately 4 miles from Cardiff City Centre. The original Lodge building was the gatehouse to Ty Mynydd, which was once the family home of the world famous children's author, Roald Dahl. As 2016 celebrates the centenary of Roald Dahl's birth, a blue plaque has been placed on Ty Mynydd Lodge, commemorating his association with the estate.
Ty Mynydd Lodge is a family run bed and breakfast. We are a husband and wife team with two young children. We enjoy meeting our guests and advising them on some of the great places that Cardiff and the surrounding areas has to offer.
Ty Mynydd Lodge is in North Cardiff in a district called Radyr. Radyr village is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the M4. Ty Mynydd Lodge is on the main road through the village and has excellent bus and train links into the city centre. Our location is North Cardiff, which enables great access to major link roads including the A470 and is a great base to visit local attractions including the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Bay and the Brecon Beacons.
