St. Piran's Lodge is a unique place. On one floor; outside there’s a vast decking area. It is surrounded by open fields with astounding views. In the distance there are sounds of cows and goats, chicken and geese. With secure, private garden and parking for 2 cars.

John & Penny live on a small holding in Herodsfoot a rural Cornish hamlet. They have worked hard to bring this unique space to life! Surrounded by stunning scenery, they truly hope you will leave happy, rested and relaxed. The owners live on site but far enough away (200 mtrs approx.) to give you complete privacy. They prefer not to trouble you at all, but if there are any problems, they are available on their mobiles or just knock on their door! They leave a comprehensive information pack in the Lodge with all these details and lots more!

You are never far from anywhere in the beautiful county of Cornwall. A peninsular that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean, Cornwall is surrounded on 3 sides by sea and connected to Devon on the other side. If you are a surfer you have hit the jackpot. The seas on the north coast of Cornwall are some of the best surfing in the country, maybe even the world! If surfing isn't your 'thing' then there are so many varied other attractions in this county, all of them not a long drive away from where ever you stay! The famous ones are the Eden Project with its biomes and 30 acres of gardens to explore, then there is the Lost Gardens of Heligan with it's astonishing story and history, of course there's Tintagel and it's legend of King Arthur. The mining history of Cornwall is long, St. Piran's Lodge is in an area were lead and silver was mined. We have the fishing port of Looe and Polppero not far away and Fowey is also only a short drive away. Lots of filming has been done around Cornwall including Doc Martin in Port Isaac and Poldark on Bodmin Moor, Porthcurno Beach and in Charlestown to name a only a few of the places Ross rode across on his horse called Seamus!
