The living areas in this shepherd's hut consist of a studio-style layout with double bed, kitchen with electric hot plate, microwave oven, kettle and toaster and a dining area for two with woodburning stove, serviced by a shower room. Outside there is off-road parking for one car and a lawn with picnic bench and barbecue. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. In addition to surfing, the rolling waves and footpaths along the restored canal or along the North Cornwall coastal path provide an excellent opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. When looking for a day trip, take the coastal road north to Hartland Point or walk or ride a donkey down the steep and cobbled village street (no cars allowed) to the harbour and the pub far below in beautiful Clovelly, a quaint seaside village. Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Tintagel Castle, Doc Martin's Port Wenn at Port Isaac, and yet more great surfing beaches at Polzeath can be found if you follow the coast in the other direction.
