Helston has a long history, interesting shops and is a good starting point for visiting beaches, geology and ice cream!Since the by-pass, the town centre is safer! Big Salisbury's, Lidl. Access to the Lizard, Porthleven, Praa sands Kynance Cove all within 20 minutes travel. I stayed at the Premier Inn with its restaurant, car park and spacious room.

The quietude of the space was so right for me.

The quietude of the space was so right for me. Lizard Peninsula easy to get to and only took a few minutes. I loved the Llamas and donkey pottering around the site. Because the property had a balcony and good outdoor furniture. I could sit there and view the sea in the background.

Helston is a lovely little place. There are nice pubs and places to eat, especially the burger place called Boo Koos . A few good shops to peruse, would stay here again as it makes a good base for exploring the area.

I have visited Helston many times and find that the town is suffering from the results of the pandemic and its affect on local businesses. Having said that the area around is still full of interesting places to visit and nice people.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape. However, the surrounding area is wonderful. Porthleven, small but very friendly and welcoming. Location ideal for exploring the St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the coast from Porthleven round to Falmouth. Wonderful memories 💖. Thank you.

Birgitt and Paul are lovely hosts, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to Mandeley Guest House in Helston! Great location; accommodation exellent, spotlessly clean room with super comfy bed (room cleaned every day); the shower powerful and towels luxurious soft; brekfast was fantastic, cooked to perfection, top quality and lots of choice every day! Highly recommend to anyone visiting West Cornwall! Thank you so much Birgitt and Paul!

no.52 B&B was a perfect fit for my visit in the Helston area!! Kim and the staff have an ideal location complemented with choice comforts top to toe! The breakfast was first rate, my room and the public space immaculate and most importantly, massive friendliness and welcoming spirit and conversation. *Bonus to be right next door to The Blue Anchor Pub serving up superior Spingo too!! For sure I'll return next time through 🤙🏼🌎👊🏼

We probably never had a better breakfast in an b&b or hotel ever. The room was not too big but adequate for a 3 day visit, the bathroom had a perfect shower. The location was ideally located to visit the several interesting locations in Cornwall. We had a very very pleasant stay, enjoyed the restaurants that were recommended and can only recommend this b&b to future Cornwall-visitors. Thank you very much, Vicki, for having us.

The property is situated within easy driving distance of Helston and Porthleven. We was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from Sarah. Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah who helped with advice of local attractions within the area. There was a choice of breakfast. Parking on site was also included. We would recommend Monterey Pines for people who are looking for a homely welcoming guest house.

Location was perfect for exploring the whole of Cornwall and was very close to the main routes around. Good local facilities in the nearby town and lots of products provided for us on our arrival to help with our stay. Heather and Rob were very friendly and were always there to support where needed. We love the Helston area and the views from the property were fantastic.

Friendly and welcoming staff even though we did a very last minute booking. Genuinely dog friendly and relaxed. Both Dinner and Breakfast were good. Great facilities in the room - kettle with beverages, water, lovely soaps etc in bathroom, hair dryer. We could also control the temperature within the room.
