Willowvale is an unusual and elegant 1920s house and the main accommodation across the ground and first floors is available for rent. It has been beautifully furnished and decorated with each bedroom having its own charm and appeal. Most of all, it is welcoming to adults and children alike. The home lends itself as a perfect base for a golfing break being so close to the Nairn golf course. There are two double bedrooms with en-suite facilities and a further 2 double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with an Aga, and spacious reception rooms which can comfortably accommodate large parties. The home is beautifully appointed with contemporary and antique furnishing, quality fabrics and art work. Guests have use of the extensive garden and parking. The owners occupy the top floor with alternative private access. Nairn beach has received several awards for its cleanliness and the West Beach can be accessed across the golf course which is at the end of the lane and is a very short walk. For those looking to hike and hill walk, the Cairngorms are just a 30 minute drive and for those with a love of history and antiquaries the area abounds with Castles and ancient sites dating from the Neolithic. Restaurants are within walking distance and supermarket shopping can be delivered.
Nairn is the perfect base for exploring the Highlands. From the beautiful beaches on the Moray Firth, famous for its dolphins to the Culbin forests and the mountains of the Cairngorm National Park, it is ideal for outdoor activities such as walking and mountain biking. You can also explore many historical sites with Cawdor Castle, Culloden battlefield, Fort George, Brodie Castle and Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness all nearby. Golf is one of the biggest draws to Nairn, with two championship courses. The Nairn Golf Club, having played host to many top amateur competitions including the Walker Cup and Curtis Cup, is only a few minutes walk from Willowvale. Castle Stuart, prior host of the Scottish Open is only 15 minutes away and there are many other courses to choose form within an hour including Royal Dornoch, Boat of Garten, Spey Valley, Old Moray, Hopeman.
