Woodland Cottage is a delightful stone-built hideaway in over 70 acres of beautiful private grounds. Located near the charming market town of South Molton in N Devon, this charming gem is quiet & secluded. With lovely flowers all around the house, a wonderful welcome hamper including superb home-made goodies & a cream tea awaiting your arrival, you're guaranteed a very warm welcome. Downstairs there is an elegant sitting room with comfortable seating & a delightful large dining kitchen with granite work surfaces. The stairs lead to the romance of a light-filled double bedroom, together with a small single room & a modern bathroom with roll top bath. Outside, a courtyard with outdoor furniture is an amazing sun trap & provides plenty of peace & quiet. Admire wonderful views across rolling countryside from your own private lake with ornamental fish & seating. Take a picnic here & enjoy a glass of wine..

The walks from the doorstep are outstanding! Around the cottage over 70 acres of private grounds weave their magic. Potter in the lovely private woodland & enjoy the abundance of wildlife - you may be lucky enough to spot the local red deer, otters & a wide variety of birds. This wonderful haven is a great base to explore North Devon, being central to just about every attraction in the area. Situated not far from both coastal and inland beauty spots, Woodland Cottage will suit visitors of all tastes. A 10-minute drive takes you to the attractive market town of South Molton which offers interesting shops, pubs & cafes, amenities & a weekly market. There are a number of farm shops & pretty villages, with country pubs within an easy drive. Close by is the stunning Exmoor National Park, where you can explore the beautiful landscape, plus there are a wealth of outdoor activities on offer, including cycling, fishing and birdwatching. The dramatic North Devon coastline is within reach, with numerous beauty spots to explore, such as Lynmouth, Watersmeet, Clovelly, Dunster, Landacre Bridge & Tarr Steps. The beaches at Croyde & Woolacombe provide the finest quality surf and sand.
