Would you like to relax all day around a pool & keep everyone happy without driving around? Enjoy favourite music or Netflix shows while cooling your feet in the water. Grab a cold beer or a cocktail from the adjacent fridge & sip it in the jacuzzi where jets relax your tense back. Watch kids having the time of their lives under the water cascade. Fall asleep under the shade or get a tan on the awning half immersed in water. Savor the serene countryside evening under the grapevine. The roomy indoor communal space integrates a comfortable living room, a kitchen with breakfast island and a large dining table. Outdoor spaces are a pool area (with jacuzzi, smart TV, refrigerator, water cascade, pool awning, umbrellas, loungers under a grapevine and sunbathing matresses), a covered patio, a large dining area (extra long table, sofa seats and adjacent BBQ). Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, large wardrobe and a desk. Two other bedrooms are served by two bathrooms. The house is not shared with us or other guests in any way. It is exclusively inhabited by the guests that have currently booked the specific dates.
We're a couple of an architect and an interior designer in our late 40's. We love Crete especially its less known southern side where all kind of magic, unexpected things can happen. We do not consider hosting as a new job. Additional income is welcome but not important enough as a sole reason to share our home with people we do not know. We thought it might be a good idea to let more people discover the unique experience of the place, especially since our schedule doesn't allow us to live there as much as we would like. We would like to have guests (with the original meaning of the term), not clients. We're not fond of being too extrovert with guests. We will be gladly available to help and inform but we cannot be concierges. We consider hosting as giving our home to a couple of considerate close friends to spent some days over and relax. We would really like hosting to be a pleasant experience for us so we can keep on with the same eager as we started!
The villa is in a small complex consisting of two other independent houses. The complex is just outside the typically Cretan village of Peza surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It is a 7 min walk from the the village's square where all kind of shops are located. A car is necessary to reach the house. Local public transportation pass through and stop in the village but does not reach the house (7min walk). There's a private covered parking area in the property that is accessible through automatic door
