Very clean, modern, chic. Bed was comfortable, shower was large and nice. Small Espresso machine was an added bonus. Also included was shampoo and conditioner. The gentleman who first opened the apartment for us spent time showing a map of Athens, which gave us insight on the best places to go. Several blocks away is the metro public transport.

A very warm welcome from me, Theoharis, the owner of Vilaman ΙΚΕ, the property management company that is running this property. Having traveled extensively in the Americas, SE Asia and Europe, and being a demanding traveller myself, I adapted my experiences to my native Greece and combined them with our philoxenia: the ancient greek word that literally means a “friend to a stranger” and is synonymous to hospitality. For Greeks however, it is something deeper than that., it is an unspoken cultural law that shows generosity and courtesy to strangers. In addition, my personal relationship with each property owner allows me to make sure that everything runs smoothly, as desired, so that our every guest feels at home at our properties and takes a unique experience and unforgettable memories back home with them.

Property info

Stay in this gorgeous designer home in the very center of Athens, just a few steps from the metro and close to some of the city’s best restaurants, bars and shopping areas. The apartment is right opposite the US embassy and Athens’ Concert Hall, very close to a number of Athenian hospitals, fertility and beauty clinics, and very conveniently located for the city’s university campus. This is a great base from which to explore the city in style and comfort. This spacious one bedroom apartment is set in one of Athens' most central spots, in a 1960s heritage building. It has just been completely renovated by a well-known team that turned it into an chic, minimal open plan space with designer features and a relaxed atmosphere.

Neighborhood info

You will be staying right opposite one of the city's most popular squares, Mavilli Sq. with its well-known bars, restaurants and galleries. The Megaron Metro Station is just a few steps away as is the Athens Concert Hall, numerous hospitals ( Ippokrateion, Alexandra, Children's Hospital, Laiko, Euroclinic etc.), medical centres and Serum Clinic. Just a few minutes' walk away you will find some of Athens' best restaurants and a little bit further you will be shopping in Kolonaki, the city's most upmarket neighbourhood. Syntagma, the Acropolis, sights and major museums are all just a short metro or taxi ride away. Getting around Catch a taxi right outside the front door at any point of the day or walk a minute to reach the metro station. You will also be able to use the city's buses. Please be advised that parking is tightly contolled in the area throughout the day. However there are a number of garages you could use to park your car for a fee.
