Niolos Villas consists of two autonomous villas located on a hill, overlooking the Souda bay and offering beautiful sea views. Villa Niolos II is a 140 sq.m, newly built, luxury villa, built with high design standards and construction quality, located next to Sternes village which is only a 2 minutes drive away from the well known sandy beaches of Marathi and Loutraki. Because of its position (being located on a hill side), the villa offers an incredible view of Souda bay. **Starting January 1, 2024, a new Greek tax was introduced which is called the “Climate Crisis Resilience Charge”, requiring a fee of 10 euros per night from March to October and 4 euros per night from November to February. The amount needs to be paid in cash or by card upon your arrival at the villa.

Neighbourhood information

Staying in our villa will offers you not only the advantage of relaxing in a quiet private area but also be close to everything! The villa is located on a hill, overlooking the Souda bay outside the small traditional village Sternes which is one of the 20 villages of Akrotiri peninsula, about 14 km north east of Chania town. The whole surrounding area is a totally quiet natural environment ideal for relaxing but also being very close to all kind of supplies shops, restaurants and services. In Sternes village you will be able to find a mini market and a pharmacy but most of supplies can be found in Kounoupidiana (8 km away from the villa) which is the largest village of Akrotiri peninsula. The closest well known area because of it’s beach is Marathi which is only 3 km away. Marathi is an organised sandy beach which is famous for the crystal blue and calm waters with some very good traditional seafood taverns. It is totally rare to see waves in that beach even if it is a windy day. An other well known beach which is next to the villa (2.2km away) and worth a visit is Loutraki.
