The breath-taking view and privacy are the two main features that make the villa unique. Villa Pelagos is a traditional Cephalonian house, typical of the picturesque village of Assos. Situated in a magnificent hill side plot, the yellow house with dark green shutters, was extensively renovated in 2018 and has been lovingly cared for by the same family. Entering the house is an open plan living room and kitchen leading out to the veranda. On the left hand side is the master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. To the right of the living room, there are 2 bedrooms. One with a double bed and one with two single beds, sharing a bathroom. The living room and the 2 bedrooms have french doors that open onto the shaded veranda with a spectacular view of the Ionian Sea, the entrance to Myrtos Bay, Agia Kyriaki, North Paliki and many other inaccessible beaches. Overlooking the same breathtaking view just in front and towards the east side of the house there is an additional patio and lawn ideal for sunbathing, relaxing or reading. Villa Pelagos is only three minutes’ walk from the village centre and the main beach. Villa Pelagos is next to Villa M, also available through booking's website, making the two houses an ideal choice for a larger group of friends.
Things to do in Assos. Enjoy a swim in Assos’s sheltered bay which can be accessed by three pebble beaches. Walk up to the gate of the Castle at the top of the peninsula and take in the spectacular view of the village, then wander through the tree-covered grounds of the Castle. Savour a hearty breakfast or a traditional meal and a glass of Kefalonian wine at one of several local tavernas. Shop at Assos’s gift shops for souvenirs for family and friends back home. Stock up on supplies at the village’s super markets. Rent a boat with an outboard motor and explore nearby beaches which are only accessible by sea. Make a cash withdrawal or other bank transaction at the ΑΤΜ.
