In a charming setting on a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea this small family run business is open from Easter until Christmas. Villa Viglakia is at the heart of a protected area with Natura 2000 status. The Villa and apartments were renovated in 2014, including, kitchens, garden and the hotel grounds. Most bathrooms were fully renovated in 2016. Our colourful garden has mature palm trees and many other local plants and flowers. It is an oasis for chilling out or enjoying a book. Villa Viglakia is in a picturesque and quiet area in the exclusive Northern part of the island. It is at the end of a private road, there is no through traffic and we have a large private car park. Please note that our brand new swimming pool is a small shallow pool (approx. 4,5m diametre) and is ideal for cooling down. Children must be supervised at all times. There is no life guard. Villa Viglakia, if booked as a whole, is also ideal to accommodate the guests of small wedding parties. There is a double apartment for the couple with a private entrance upstairs (including a bed for a child in a separate room, if needed) and up to 19 wedding guests can share the four larger apartments downstairs.
I live in this magical place with my wife Carina and our daughter Anais. We have five beautiful holiday apartments set in a well tended garden near the sea, walking distance to some fantastic beaches and near the cosmopolitan fishing village of Naoussa. We want our guests to feel at home and really enjoy their holidays.
Breathtaking views! Three beautiful shallow sandy beaches with crystal clear water with or without umbrellas and water sports/ diving facility at walking distance A mini market at Santa Maria Surfing beach (2km away) with a large choice of water sports and a beach bar. Two excellent family taverns at walking distance. A gourmet restaurant with sunset views 3km away. The picturesque fishing village with a vast choice for shopping, eating out, coffee and ice cream shops 6km away. A number of stunning beaches (Monastiri, Kolimbithres, etc) a short drive away. Further places of interest: the monastery of Agios Antonis, the church of Panagia in the port of Paroikia, Lefkes in the mountains which used to be the former capital, Paros Parc with the light house, the bay of Naoussa, watching the ferries come and go from a coffee shop on the beach front in Paroikia, innumerable beaches and excellent places to eat out to suit all tastes and budgets dotted all over the island. A day in the neighbouring Antiparos or island hopping to some of the other surrounding islands.
