We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! Stunning ambiance throughout the entire property. The reception, complete with sparkling wine, set the tone for a great experience. The breakfast was truly top-notch, offering a variety of high-quality options that exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel in town and the surrounding region.

A simple hotel with nice but plain rooms but with a wonderful view of the old town across the canal. The staff were friendly enough and the place was clean. A bit of a walk to the upper floors but not a problem unless you are physically challenged.

This is a gem of a location and property! It has a great view of old town Trogir, charming restaurant, and nicely appointed rooms. The room I had was spacious and had a balcony, which I loved.

This is a beautiful medieval hotel in the heart of Old Town. Our room and bathroom were very spacious with old hardwood floors and very high ceilings. The room was very quiet, bed super comfortable and wifi worked great. The pipes are old so it took a long time to get the water to turn hot, but once it did, there was plenty of it. This is a family run hotel/restaurant and the service was beyond excellent. The restaurant has bare stone walls and antique furniture and photos which was really made for a wonderful experience. A huge, delicious breakfast was served each morning to each table; not buffet style. Again, the service was impeccable. We had a lovely stay at Hotel Tragos and highly recommend it.

Trogir centre is a classic old Mediterranean town with well preserved architecture which in my view rises well above its modern touristification. It is also a big marine centre. In summer though it gets choked with traffic, come by bus (or ferry from Split in summer only) if you can. There is a frequent bus service from Split and Split airport every day.

Trogir is a small town with a couple of things to see in the very center - the old town. It's small enough that you can just walk around and see everything. We ate burgers at Big Mom's - they were good.

Our stay this time was very short but we liked the atmosphere of the old town. Lots of tourists still but quieter in the evening. walking inside the old town is easy, it is so small that one cannot get totally lost, the sea always lurks at the end of some street. The main road outside the old town is now under repairs, that a litte bit cursed difficulties for walking - but a passing problem! Maybe the walking bridge - which was not in use now - will also be repaired.

I love Trogir, it was my second visit.
I love Trogir, it was my second visit. The city has all these little streets and historical buildings that are very cool to see. The town gets a bit crowded in the evenings, if you want to explore, it's better to do during the day time. There is a number of small museums but they aren't very informative or interesting, I planned two days for the sightseeing and museums but that was too much time.
That said, it's a magical experience walking those cobblestone streets having the city's long history in mind. It's obviously not at the scale of Dubrovnik or Split but it's a lot less crowded.

Old town trogir is a beautiful place.
Old town trogir is a beautiful place. It's quite small so you can easily walk through it in few hours. Bars and restaurants are abundant.
We visited in October which I guess is not high season. The temperarture was perfect, 25 C during the day and still pleasent in the evening. A very relaxing stay.
We visited the castle and the museum. Neither of them was very impressive. The castle should only be visited for the view. There is not much to see inside.
Our stay was incredibly good. Owners Walter and Mira greeted us warmly when we arrived. They gave us fruits, vegetables and other goods from their garden and were the nicest and kindest hosts possible. The apartment was clean and comfortable and very well equipped for our needs. We had a great time and every day we walked down to the beach. Weather was warm but the air conditioning in the apartment kept us cool.
Best stay so far in Croatia and surely we will come to visit Walter and Mira next year!
Hvala for everything!

Beautiful and clean apartment, stunning view, close to the beach and a shop. Fully furnished and equipped. A balcony with beautiful view over the sea with hanging hammock char and plenty of space to sit, drink coffee and enjoy the landscape.
The host responded very prompt & fast to the raised issues (reported slow internet at the evening - next day in the morning the ISP technician arrived and fixed the problem). The host speaks croatian & german. Lot of parking space at the property. Very quiet place.
Located 2 min walk to old town with free parking. Excellent hotel with huge room, welcome plate of meat, cheese, wine or beer was a lovely touch. The staff make this hotel they are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great stay. Trogir is a beautiful place and wish we could have stayed longer. We only stayed one night as were flying the next morning, this hotel is a 5 min drive to Split airport.
Highly recommend this hotel.
The whole atmosphere of a well run and prosperous hotel. The property has been built and presumably extended with providing guests with a quality experience. Hospitality and customer service a priority.
We had a room on the side with a sea view all the way to Split. The fittings were all excellent quality. The location is on the waterfront with a sunbathing and swimming deck on the sea. Also an easy 15 minute bus ride to Trogir.
We only stayed one night but would certainly re-visit.
Bit of a struggle to find (Zig zag back streets from locations address), host has no English and I no Croatian but we got on fine after my Schnapps welcome (or whatever it was !) . Location great for sightseeing, restaurants, bars, old town, etc. About 20 min walk to bus station for airport or almost anywhere in Croatia.
Other reviews said no aircon - but there was, and it worked. Don't think taking a car would be a good idea - but who would to a Croatian old town anyway ?
Very nice accomodation with swimming pool, which was very good for our kids. I have to say it's still not very standard to have swimming polo in croatia as part of accomodation, I mean when you don't go to a hotel. Do this was very much positive. Very nice and helpful owner Ms. Nada. It wa very close to the beach, so this we were really appreciating especially with the kids after long day on the beach 😊 I really recommend this accomodation.
The apartment is very large, clean and well-equipped. Communication with Josip was excellent. It is on the third floor without and elevator, so this could be an issue for some. Parking space right in front of the building. The balacony was very nice, though only with a view to other buildings. It was close to the beach, although the beach was overcrowded and not as nice as other beaches we have been to in Croatia.
Thomas is the host with the most, super warm and friendly, full of ideas, information and recommendations.
The hostel is right in the heart of Old Trogir, close to all the sights and lots of eating and drinking options, and there's also a supermarket, day market and night market just across the river.
It's also very convenient for the bus to Split Airport, just three or four minutes' walk from the bus station.
The hotel had the most amazing roof terrace with a hot tub overlooking a bell tower! The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and the enclosed terrace was so pretty to eat breakfast in! I loved it that much I stayed in it twice during my trip to Croatia! Couldn’t have asked for a better host (Mario)who gave us recommendations for our trip! Would definitely go back :)
We have never had a warmer welcome at any hotel. They served us wine and a beautiful antipasto plate upon arrival. Katarina and Anna went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was beyond expectations, and the room was very clean. The location is perfect to explore old town Trogir. We highly recommend this hotel!
Good location in relation to beaches (10 min walk) in a vacation area where rentals are high. Good value. (Caveat: Some (not all) retirees may have difficulty negotiating the walk to the beach; like most Croatian rentals on the Dalmatian Riviera, the walk to the beach is downhill and the return is definitely uphill.)
Lovely location and excellent food.
Room was comfortable and the view of the sea wonderful. So relaxing. It was October so the hotel was quiet and no fighting for sun beds or tables or drinks. We walked up and down the coast every day in both directions
Croatia is beautiful!
Great location right in the center of Trogir - walkable to everything including the bus station (10 minute ride to Split airport). Host greeted us and was extremely friendly and helped us with bus times. The room was very spacious - nice to have a separate living area.
Very friendly hosts, great location, the apartments themselves are not impressive, but the most important thing in Croatia is the terrace :)
Further from the street, but only about 100 m to the beach. The beach is quiet, not many people.
Everything was fabulous. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Would return to Villa Queen if I go back to Croatia and highly recommend these appartments. Beautiful view and very clean. Very near old town and beach.
Everything it was the biggest room of all our accommodation booked in Croatia for the week, excellent location.
If I return would not hesitate to book again
