I inherited this beautiful beachfront property from my father, a local of the island of Vir (no worries, we have a bridge to the mainland). We recently did renovations, so that the three separate apartments (each with a terrace of its own), which we are offering, are in a good shape. And so is the large seasonal pool (which you might share with other guests, but with its size of 9x5.5m it never gets overcrowded), I'm sure you will love it. Another beauty is the lush mediterranean garden (mainly palms and olive trees) with lots of lounging areas incl. a large outdoor grill. Actually, the whole property is surrounded by dense and high vegetation, which gives it a feeling of perfect privacy. The amazing seaview panorama is just one step away - from our garden you step right outside on the beach. The island of Vir provides everything you need for a joyful vacation, and the stunning historical city of Zadar is only a car drive of 25 km away. Everything is set for you to enjoy a great summer, either you come as a couple, with your family or friends. Happy to see you soon!
I was born and raised in Munich, Germany, where I studied business administration, and moved to Croatia, my father's home, some 20 years ago. I am working as a hotel investment expert for South Eastern Europe, analysing, developing, acquiring and asset managing hotel real estate. I am travelling a lot businesswise, and travelling is my greatest passion privately, too. Travelling also to great football matches, concerts and festivals in all of Europe, sometimes even for great food and drinks with friends :) My wife Tina is also in the hospitality business, in consultancy and goods distribution. My older daughter Laura Nathalie is in her twenties, working as a hotel expert in Munich, while Tara Michelle is a school girl and looking forward for the summer holidays :) Both girls love to be in Vir in summer, so you might see them around when you're there!
The island of Vir is "all private", meaning that there are no large hotel complexes, only some smaller pensions, while the rest are all private holiday homes, many of them also accomodating international tourists. There are many supermarkets at hand, also fish markets, stands for fruits and vegetables etc. There are also various restaurants, cafes and bars, but remember, it's all private and summer oriented, so if you're looking for more urban delights, you can always jump into the car, and within less than 30 minutes, you are in the city of Zadar.
