For our guests staying with us for only one night: Your hosts can give you the basic idea of the shortest route to the city, shops, stations, ferries and local cuisine, and beach, all within walking distance from us. For our guests staying longer than one night: Your hosts can give you the advanced routes to the city, villages, islands, natural and man-made beaches and local cuisine. You can tell us what your interests are, and we will tell you the best, most cost effective ways to move like a local, and get the most out of the time you have with us. Who better than the host who grew up in Croatia and extended the family house into a Guesthouse with his own two hands! His partner is from South Africa, so does not yet have the dialect or experience, but hopes to learn it over time.

SPLIT IS A PENINSULA. AND WE'RE AT THE TOP OF THE PENINSULA AND VISIBILITY IS WONDERFUL. We have 6 parking bays on the ground floor which guests are welcome to make use of at a nominal nightly fee, But booking one is essential! The premises itself has 4 floors which open into independent apartments. Short stays and Business stays: We have apartments where there are two single beds and equipped with a kettle, cups, teaspoons and glasses in the apartment. Odd number? No problem. Why pay for 4 people when there are only 3 people? We also have two apartments that sleep 3 people, a double bed and a single bed. Longer stays and Family units: We have apartments ( 8 ) that are better suited for the family. They have a double bed and two sleeper couches that you can convert into beds in the evening. These apartments are fitted with stove tops, (one unit has a microwave, and one an oven) and fully functioning basic kitchen. If you are staying with us longer that 5 days, we can offer you washing and drying facilities at a fee. And free use of the iron and ironing board. All apartments have towels and linen provided. All apartments have a television and wi-fi (password is behind the entrance door of your apartment) and air conditioners. Some apartments have balconies, others porch areas – all have table and chairs, and two apartments have neither balcony or outside areas. All apartments are no smoking please. We have left ash-trays outside for smokers to access. All is at your disposal to decide what suits you best.

We are situated on a quiet street within a residential area. We can avoid the noise and rush of city life, yet be close enough to walk to it – less than 1km away. We have a bus terminal (bus 36 if you coming from the airport), Spar, butchery and bakery all within very close proximity. And plenty of coffee shops go without saying!
