Caroline is so nice and welcoming.
The place is so quiet and close to Loop Head Lighthouse and Bridges of Ross.
The energy of the house is produced only by solar panels and everything worked properly!
The area is rural, but you can find a couple of towns not so far: you can reach Kilkee in about 20 minutes by car.

Stayed for one night and everything was excellent. Location was great, was lovely looking out to the sea and the room was fantastic and a brilliant breakfast in the morning.

We love Kilrush!! Found this little town 7 years ago and we always visit when we travel to Ireland. 3 times now. There are so many things to see around the area, Kilkee Cliffs are beautiful along with the countryside. If you want a good sense of what Ireland is like this area has it all. Cliffs, country side, small towns, fantastic people, Central Shoe Store and Patrick's Men Shop are a must to shop in and great food! We will be back!! There is a great coffee shop in Kilkee up the road "The Pantry" wonderful morning goodies.

Very enjoyable time here - loved our trip out to Scattery Island, would highly recommend. The Vandeleur walled garden is also worth a visit. With more time we would have explored more of the coastal areas in and around Kilrush.

The Scattery Island tour is a must!
The Scattery Island tour is a must! Great to boat over and walk the island, tour operators are very noce and friendly.
Kilrush downtown area itself is quaint and a number of spots to enjoy food and drink often outside. Very easy to shop for any items needed a short walk away, Great retreat for less hustle and less bustle.

Off the beaten path, we all LOVED Kilrush.
Off the beaten path, we all LOVED Kilrush. If you are looking for a true Irish village that few travelers visit, this is the place. It is quaint, and quite, but we had fun shopping and hanging with the locals at the pubs. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We scored some good shopping without a tourist markup, since they do not get too many many, and ate great food. I would absolutely recommend staying in Kilrush and taking the Shannon Ferry to County Kerry for the shortcut route to Dingle. It is absolutely Charming and a step back in time.

Good stopover for 1 night before we caught the Shannon ferry the following morning. Pub meal at Crottys Pub was okay - not a lot of variety but okay for a quick meal. Parking available in the street for free which was handy.

A good hub from which to tour the area.
A good hub from which to tour the area. The trip to Scattery Island is well worthwhile. Good road network for visiting other sights in the vicinity. While there are quite a few take-aways, our greatest disappointment was the shortage of good restaurants in the town.
Amazing place. Booked the family room expecting to share the room for all 3 of us and was surprised to have a double and an adjoining twin.
Room was spotless . Little fridge, microwave , kettle and hairdryer all supplied.
Bathroom was great and the shower was good and powerful.
Breakfast was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for better . Homemade bread, croissants. Granola yogurt fruit and a cooked plate of eggs bacon sausage and tomato.
Wow.
Next time we are in kilrush we will be staying here again .
Very nice place to stay in the downtown of Kilrush. Nice staff and very welcoming. The room was eclectic with an old deco style. There is a pub below the rooms where you can enjoy some pints and a goog craic, and a nice menu to eat as well. The breakfast room is beautiful and with a very good variety to choose between many options: smoked salmon, full breakie, etc.
Stayed here with the family and the house was perfect. Clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for the kids and the hot tube is an added bonus. House is in a good location just outside Kilrush and a short drive to Kilkee. Would highly recommend for a group.
Location was excellent but was not in Kilrush as advertised and what I booked on the Booking.com website.
I have complained about the misleading site but have not received a proper response. Can’t get through to them????
