Dinner lovely and tasty, big portions. Breakfast was delicious and huge. Powerful shower.
Offering elegant rooms in a grand, 17th-century house next to a 15th-century castle, Killiane Castle is a boutique B&B located in the tranquil Wexford countryside.

The breakfast was extraordinary- everything was homemade and delicious. The room was well appointed and comfortable for all our family. The grounds are fun and their lab puppy a bonus. Wonderful host and hostess. Would stay again if we were ever lucky enough to visit the area again
On Wexford's historic Main Street, Bugler Doyles Bar & Townhouse offers free WiFi access throughout, a bar, and a terrace. The property is surrounded by shops and restaurants.
I lived there for seven years and I miss it. If you have not been go there. It has everything you need in a town. All shops are accessible by walking. It has a very good nightlife and you will not be stuck to find a good restaurant. The people there are very friendly. Fantastic beaches within a short drive. The problem when I go there I spend too much lol.

Friendly people ,lots of shops with character and individuality! Could do with more gastro pubs without spoiling the charm of this lovely town! Lots of things to do and see in Wexford especially in Gorey where there is a lovely town and lots of estates sites to visits seeped in history/ culture etc! Wexford is easy to get around on foot and by car! Loved Enniscorthy Castle well worth a visit! The seal sanctuary in Courtown is also well worth a visit!

We went to Wexford for the annual Opera Festival. The Opera House is delightful. Wexford itself is a vibrant place with lots of independent shops and restaurants and an interesting history dating back to Viking times. Of particular note was a restaurant called Jaspers (booking essential) in the Crown Quarter.
Lots of parking facilities and a compact town so easy to walk round.

Wexford is a beautiful harbour town with a great mix of shops. Lots of bars, which have plenty of live music each night, including 'Trad Nights' with traditional Irish music, also lots of eateries, sights to see, art galleries and a National Opera House. The twin churches are very pretty, make for a beautiful photograph from a distance and are both worth a look inside to make comparisons. It's only a short walk between the two. The short drive over Wexford Bridge towards Ferrybank takes you to the beach where the opening scene from Saving Private Ryan was filmed and in the other direction towards Rosslare, if you drive past Kelly's resort Hotel and keep on going and going along the little peninsula, there is a very interesting Lifeboat Memorial to be seen which looks over towards Wexford itself.

Wexford was just a stopover for us on the way to other places. We arrived at night and left in the morning. I think a day or two would have been good to explore, but we simply didn’t have time this trip.

This is our second time in wexford and unfortunately everytime we have been there it was raining heavily.
The buildings look dreary in bad weather. People we met were very friendly and helpful and we liked that its a walkable town.
Lovely room with a sea view. Comfy chairs, v comfortable bed. Great base to explore this corner of Ireland. Excellent breakfast - lots of choice and fantastic service. Located just on the edge of Wexford with ample parking so no need to move the car if you are spending time in Wexford. Damian was very helpful on check in- lots of good info on places to visit/things to do. ideally located for a stopover if you are catching the ferry from Rosslare. We highly recommend and will be returning!
Perfect location to spend two separate nights after an evening arrival at Rosslare and also the night before an early departure (07.00). Rosslare is 18 mins away.
Comfortable, clean, quiet and a lovely Irish breakfast on the first night.. We were given sandwiches, crisps, fruit, and biscuits as we felt it was too early for breakfast on our departure morning!
A local hotel provided adequate food in the evening but I'm sure a better meal could be found in Wexford just 5 mins away.
Beautiful country house hotel with friendly hosts and an abundant, delicious breakfast. thoughtful touches like tea and coffee and biscuits available all day. We travel with our dog and had a separate breakfast area which meant total relaxation. A short stroll down the hill takes you to the Wexford Walking Trail, which provides off lead possibilities for any holidaying Fido!
This was a wonderful relaxing stay with a few pampered bonuses thrown in for good measure! We were amazed by the 5 star breakfast spread! The best meal of our time in Ireland over the course of 8 days. An absolute gem of a place and the couple who own and manage it were lovely people and catered to every need without exception.
The best short holiday we ever had! My whole family and I, including my 3 months old baby had the best staycation we ever had. The hotel and facilities are so amazing. It deserves 4-5 stars! Staffs are excellent and so friendly. Definitely will come back again in the future. Highly recommended!
Beautiful older hotel that is well maintained. The breakfast was great. It is just a very short walk to downtown Wexford. There is no Air Conditioning but NONE of the places we stayed at in Ireland had A/C. The staff were very pleasant and our room was very clean.
It was like being back in the USA 🇺🇸
Everything here was So Accommodating in terms of Meal Size, Hotel Size but so Massively Important ???
The Staff Here ….Are Always watching your Tables in the Restaurant catering for your Experience.
FULLY RECOMMEND.
staff were unbelievably friendly , we chatted away for hours . hotel rooms were spotless with a view of Wexford quay , surroundings were great , couldn’t recommend a better place to stay if your looking to stay in Wexford 😊😊
The centralised location was fantastic, 100m to the main street of Wexford or to the waterfront and supermarket downstairs. The character and privacy was excellent with there being little or no noise.
Excellent hotel expertly run by the Whitty family. I first stayed at Whitford in the summer of 1988 with my young family and have never stayed at any other hotel in Wexford only Whitford eer since.
Apartments were lovely, ideal for families. The hotel itself was nice but service was very slow. Loads to do and see in Wexford. Would definitely recommend
