One day and One Night with camping experience is good enough in Yelagiri. Must visit Location: Fundera Bird's Park, Go Karting (Not a big track but get some experience specially kids above 12 year who are fond of cars), One thrill valley is 4 to 5 hours. Botanical garden is very small and not much of a variety. I do not know why they have keep entry fees. it is not worth. If some one wants to get Jain food, visit Jain's Royal for food. The place is an underrated destination.
The place is an underrated destination. The Fundura bird park is a gem. Walk through the bird enclosure was thrilling. The Selfie panda is another nice place to take pictures. It is an open air art gallery. It has a large number of art pieces for one to get photographed with The boating in the lake is good, It is good to see that the boatmen insist on tourists wearing a jacket for floating in case of accidents. The Nature park had a musical fountain on Sunday. The boat club road is bustling with activity on weekends. We had breakfast and vegetarian lunch buffet at Hotel Hills. They were very good. This is a very small, clean hill station with a lake.
This is a very small, clean hill station with a lake. There are enough activities for children, but nothing much to see. Some temples, kids' adventure activities. Weather is great. Comfortable drive, open highway, 3 hours from Bangalore. We saw one KSRTC bus too. Not too crowded when we went on a weekend in November.

Multiple adventure parks for adults as well as kids, if you are looking for some adventure then this is the right place to visit for a day or even two if you want to explore all the adventure parks.. The birds park also very good and maintained... Apart from this the usual boating are not that well maintained. If you are looking for a very cold place to stay then this might not be very cold like ooty or Yercad .. Own transportation is best choice..karthikIndia - 10Scored 10

Yelagiri is a little Hill Station about 222 Km away from Chennai. From Banglore also the the distance is same. It's a cool place and everything is concentrated around lake. Nature Park is worth seeing. Has large number of places to stay but double check as you might be surprised by the standards shown on web sites and and actual on ground. The food part requires more exploring.
