Dear Sir/Madam, Our hotel is situated in colaba which is south Mumbai. It is the old part of the city where most of the historically important buildings are located eg. Town Hall, Art Galleries, Clock tower, VT station and the most prominent of all the gateway of India etc. We are located in the heritage precinct of the city where most buildings were of art deco styling. Around the hotel within walking distance there are innumerable restaurants serving every type of food from traditional Indian to continental cuisine such as Italian to Lebanese and right down to McDonalds ( though I am sure that is not what you are coming to India to eat). As far as shopping is concerned, we are just off the causeway where you can get everything from the branded stores and next to them the street kiosks which have cheap locally produced stuff. A short taxi drive away is the famous VT station and adjacent to it Cradford Market. That area is one of the largest shopping districts in Mumbai. from wholesalers to retailers selling everything from jewellery to hardware to clothes to fabric, plastic items, sweets, juices, electricals etc etc etc. The list is endless.
