The place is great, but beware of the scams - shoes scam, horses scam, gondola queue jumping scam, and a long queue for entry to the gondola. I dont know if I will get a refund for the cancelled part of phase 2 of gondola ride.RajeevIndia

The owners of the place are very welcoming and the hospitality was great. They take care of guests as their own relatives and friends. They are very generous and kind in helping out the guests to make them as comfortable as possible. They guided us in planning our trip to Gulmarg Also arranged us a cab ( at a great deal). The location is breath-taking, the staff were very mindful of our needs and the ambiance was magical !!. Gulmarg town is very noisy and most hotels are located there. this is ~4kms away and very quiet. Loved it !!.
