One out of the two premium rooms we received was great and the location is beautiful. The lounge cum cafe is very nicely done in a hippie style and is quite aesthetic.

It was an amazing experience.
It was an amazing experience. We went for Holi and it was worth it. The only pain point was the weather. It was too hot so I would definitely recommend you go either during monsoon or post that. Apart from that the landscape is very unique and beautiful.

Hampi is a very special place even if you just want to watch the sunrise or the sunset, however it alot more to offer with the history of the city. I fully rec
ommend you hire a qualified guide for the day it costs around 2500/3000 but well worth it otherwise your just walking around ancient sites not knowing what it all was. It's very spread out so you need transport, scooters tuktuk taxi. Alot is free but some places you need to pay it costs 600 which lets you into 3 of the locations. The temple elephant goes down to the river for its daily bath which is a good experience as you can get in the river near to it. Just enjoy it

The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable.
The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable. We benefitted from being adjacent to this in the Temple View Hotel in the bazaar area. The museum and main palaces are a must, made more pleasant and achievable on the heat by engaging an auto rickshaw driver at an agreed rate for the day( suggest 1,500 rupees for the day) Chill out bamboo was our favourite eating and cool drink location.

Nobody will tell you the following.
Nobody will tell you the following.
I previewed nearly hundreds of videos on Hampi on YouTube. But nobody gave proper iternary about how to visit the places.
Use Google map and directions to visit the places. Hier two wheeler if you don't have your own vehicle. Do not go for auto rickshaw option unless otherwise you can't drive.
Start the morning with queens bath and surrounding temples. Then visit Vitthal temple.
Take some rest in your hotel and in the evening visit sunset point and surrounding temples.
At night you can visit virupaksha temple.
Next morning visit sunrise point. Then go for "darli" ride. Visit the other side of Hampi that is hippy Island. Visit Anjanedari hill.
If you have more time you can visit the other remaining places.

As the Hampi is famous for the Stone Chariot which was situated at the Vitthala Temple and other monuments which includes Virupaksha Temple. The best thing is the Sunrise & Sunset at the different locations i.e. Matanga Hills, Sanapur Lake etc. Overall the Best trip for the solo travellers as we will get partners from the another countries which came to roam Hampi. If you want to chillout with your friends definitely visit but book a room near virupaksha temple and use bicycle or the journey which will give best experience ever.
The owner and her helping staffs were very helpful and helped us with any queries we had pertaining to stay, places to visit, means of transportation and places to eat. She even allowed us to stay beyond our checkout time as we had late evening train and did not charge anything extra. The homestay is located at a convenient location to all the prominent sites of visit. Homestay is located in between Beautiful gardens and greenery and is a view in itself. Whenever in Hampi I would recommend this for your stay at budgeted price.
the place was nice and clean. The restaurant had a good space to sit and decent food quality.
I must mention specially the auto driver who we hired with the hotel's help - VIJAY was a kind and simple person who helped us travel around hampi. He went out of the way including helping us with our luggage to board the bus while leaving as well and it was great to travel with him.
The place also has a massage center called SIDHA ayurvedic center - had a wonderful ayurvedic massage at this place - must do when in hampi.
We stayed at this homestay, and it was amazing! The people who welcomed us were so nice and made us feel at home right away. The house was really pretty and super clean. Our room was big and had everything we needed.
Every morning, we got to eat yummy breakfast made by the hosts. It was so delicious! They also helped us in renting vehicle and connected us with the correct POC for it.
Overall, it was the best place to stay! I had a great time and can't wait to go back!
Stayed there for 2Days.AC was working fine.Rooms and Bathrooms were very clean.Food was very good and hygienic with basic service. There is no good restaurants nearby or even in Hampi.Mostly all restaurants are vegetarian with very high price,so if you are a non vegetarian please have the food from Homestay as that is the best option. Unfortunately not taken any photos of the room or food as it was not required.the photos given by the facility is accurate.
From the comments I read I didn't have much expectations for the room. But it was better then I expected! I mean - It was basic, but it was clean and comfortable. Hampi is very small place so one shouldn't expect fancy hotels here. Also, Gopi guest house has a cafeteria upstairs that serves delicious food and it's in general a nice place to hangout. The people working there are very friendly. It was a good stay.
Coconut Homestay is highly recommended. It has every thing Good Room with all facilities hygiene and view. Food is delicious must try veg nonveg thali. Breakfast n tea on terrace with view is heaven. You will get everything that a three star hotel provides moreover coconut homestay will treat you as Athiti Devo Bhava .Very Humble people.Proximity to Hampi sites is good within 10min range
We had great experience!! Nice place to stay with family and has easy access to waterfalls, lake and corakel boat riding. Huts are in good condition, well maintained and they have restaurant that serves awesome food. The staff (Pavan & Prem) are courteous, jovial and the owner Moulali is very friendly person. I would recommend Island Vibes for sure.
The Ambience was Amazing. Very clean place, Green paddy field around, boulder rock view, gorgeous sunrise and sunset, the whole place comes alive due to all the variety of birds, crickets, frog noise, the background river flow is very soothing. Good place to relax/ take break from busy city life. Best place for people visiting Hampi & Backpackers.
the property is perfectly situated if you plan to visit the Hampi temples. also the host family are great. extremely hospitable and they even have meal offerings which are a small price and very good. we've travelled throughout India and this room was the best we've stayed in very clean and relatively modern with AC and en-suite and TV.
If you travel to hampi then i tottaly reccomend this place. Hosts are amazing. Very helpfull and honest they will assist you with anything. Location also great for someone that doesnt want to stay in old hampi. Just 3 klms and 7 minutes with the scooter. Owner will assist you renting a bike. Room is clean and comfortable with hot water
Only thing we liked was the location of the hotel. It is in close proximity to Railway station, Bus stand and Restaurants, and also easy to get to Hampi from here. Parking in abundance. and overall staff's behaviour is good. Please ensure you carry ID cards for all above 12 years as they ask while check-in.
Cottages are really great. They give authentic hampi ambience. They also have some cool and friendly pets. They get along really well. Location wise also it has some good spots nearby for sunset and other activities. Overall an amazing experience. Totally worth for money.
Nice place to stay when you are visiting Hampi their service is very good 👍 auto rickshaw 🛺 was arranged by the hosts for sightseeing one main. Food was very tasty 😋 very good cooker
He is very passionate at his service we are completely satisfied 🙏
Very well kept and comfortable hotel. The food is sumptuous with a great spread of options. The location is also great which is within the Jindal township. It is 35 kms from the humpi ruins but still a very plush option to stay.
Such a great place with a kind and helpful owner, comfortable room and welcoming neighbours. Will definitely recommend staying here if you would like to stay in a quite quiet village near old Hampi!
Amazing location. The triple room with balcony has a perfect view of the mountains, the ruins and the virupaksha temple. The owner is a very warm person. Hands down the best place to stay in Hampi.
