Á starmýri er að finna rólegt umhverfi, fjallasýn, útsýni til sjávar. Bústaðirnir á Starmýri eru nýjir og hlýlegir og henta vel til styttri jafnt sem legnri dvala. Fallegar gönguleiðir er að finna á jörðinni. Í húsunum er að finna grillaðstöðu og verönd. Eldhús aðstaða er í húsunum og svefn loft, þar er líka frítt Wi-fi og frítt bílastæði. Bústaðirnir eru byggðir á sveitajörð sem gerir dvölina enn notalegri. Á sumrin er hægt að fylgjast með lömbunum á túnunum, og það má alveg prófa að gefa kindum og lömbum smá brauð og ef þú ert heppin þá gæti veeið hreindýr fyrir framan bústaðinn
Bústaðirnir á Starmýri eru staðsettir 37 km frá Djúpavogi og 71 km frá Hornafirði . Ókeypis Wi-Fi Internetaðgangur er í boði í þessu sumarhúsi. Fullbúinn eldhúskrókur með örbylgjuofni og ísskáp er til staðar. Sérbaðherberginu fylgir sturta ásamt ókeypis snyrtivörum.

Fallegur hóll liggur við bæinn sem ber nafnið Sjónarhraun og upp á hann er auðveldlega hægt að ganga og er fallegt útsýni frá honum yfir sveitina. Um 30 mín akstur er á Djúpavog og um 45 mín akstur er á Höfn í Hornafjörð.
