Receptionist/owner(?) was very nice. He helped us to heat up our food and carried our suitcase for us. He also made some travel recommendations in eastern Iceland. :) There are also free postcard offered by the hotel:) Our room had private bathroom included, and we saw a rabbit from our windows!! The breakfast was also great! I recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a stopover between Höfn and Egilsstaðir

Really unique lodge. The staff were helpful. We were the only ones there so it was dead quiet. The sauna was a treat. The plentiful self-serve breakfast was great.
