Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We needed to check in early for a wedding and they allowed us to get ready and refresh. They made a special effort to get the room ready which was much appreciated. The outdoor seating area had a lovely view was a nice place to relax with a coffee/beer. The room was spacious, cool and clean with a good shower and air conditioning. Breakfast was a buffet style with hot & cold choices. We only stayed a night but were happy with service and facilities.

The Agriturismo Monte Oliveto Maggiore is a large ancient farm with a rustic lifestyle, dating back to 1390. Nearby is the millenary Benedictine abbey. Located in Chiusure, 400m above sea level, an ancient medieval village which, from its height, closes the ring in which the Crete Senesi are set, and thanks to its position it offers spectacular 360 ° views from sunrise to sunset. The farm has 9 rooms, each complete with private bathroom, furnished according to the Tuscan peasant tradition, with antique terracotta floors. Every morning a rich and genuine breakfast awaits guests upon awakening, complete from sweet to savory, with typical local products and viennoiserie, a wide variety of cereals, selection of coffees and juices. Particular attention is paid to the selection of raw materials, with flours, eggs, milk, salami and pecorino cheese produced in the best local farms. Among the common areas, a large living room with TV, a huge garden furnished with two whirlpools, shaded by olive trees and umbrellas, where you can spend relaxing hours or even joining the wine-tastery of the fine prducts of the monks' farm.
