We fell in love with Abruzzo and decided to purchase a property that we could authentically renovate and live the Italian lifestyle when visiting. The property is a central townhouse with parking outside and balconies. It has modern facilities (3.5 bathrooms) and authentic stone features.
My wife and I were born in England but currently live in New Zealand with our teenage daughter. Australia was also our home for several years. We live in the property for part of the year and love to travel around Abruzzo and wider area whenever we can.
Quant hilltop towns and beautiful mountain scenery dominate the landscape. Overlooking the Maiella Mountains and pretty town streets there are numerous local facilities including mini supermarkets, butcher, bar/cafe, restaurant, pharmacy, churches, and so on. Local markets are held in the surrounding towns. Local skiing is available at Passo Lanciano or Roccaraso and the Trabocchi Coast is around 50 minutes away.
