The property is spacious, light and airy. It has wifi and television.
I moved to Magognino, a village above Lake Maggiore in 2015 after I retired from teaching music. I wanted to pursue composing and publishing music, and to live in a more natural environment rather than a city. My son is living here at the moment and he can speak fluent Italian and a bit of German. I speak Italian and some French.
The surrounding beauty is overwhelming, and I never get tired of looking at the mountains, which change all through the day. I love the changing seasons from snow-capped winter peaks to wild flowers and blossoms bursting out at spring, to the warmth of the summer. The locals are kind and friendly. In Stresa you can take a boat to the islands. There are lots of beautiful walks from the house and further afield.
