Casa Gialla is beautiful with a terrace and a private balcony with fantastic views over Lake Iseo. The apartment is tastefully furnished with all the essentials. It's about 10min walk to Marone town with a supermarket, restaurants and bars, as well as the lake with a public beach and a cycle path. The train station has decent connections to other towns along the lake. The host, Dario, is super lovely and happy to give tips or help with anything you might need.

Quiet,peaceful location with a stunning view of the lake.As we had use of a rental car it was ideally situated to visit Como,Garda and Bergamo.The property was beautifully furnished with the owner clearly having an exceptional eye for detail retaining that authentic rustic style.The owner was a perfect host being on hand to give advice and recommendations.We fully recommend this property and hope to return soon.

A really nice place to spend your holiday and visit the environment of Lago d'Iseo. The yellow house is beautiful on the inside and the view from the balcony is great! Also, host Dario is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay! There are stairs (+/- 300) to the lakeside so you can easily visit the beach of Marone or the supermarket. The way up is a more challenging then down but the view from CasaGialla is all worth it 👌

A charming apartment with a balcony and terraces - all of which offer superb views of Lake Iseo and Monte Isola - run by a very friendly and helpful host Dario who lives next door. Marone is a good starting point for hiking, climbing, cycling and day trips to cities such as Iseo, Brescia or Bergamo by train (and so much more). There is free parking just a few stairs away from the house. From the house, you can easily walk to the train station, supermarket, bakery and a few nice cafes and restaurants via a series of beautiful stairs that take you down to the town and lakeside. Dario’s recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area were spot on and contributed to our fantastic stay - thank you for hosting us, we had a fantastic time!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s a beautiful, cool apartment with incredible views over the lake. Dario, the owner, is very helpful and friendly - he made us feel really welcome. We didn’t have a car, so the 300+ steps up to the apartment were quite daunting at first, but we soon got used to it - and it’s worth it for the views. Marone is one of the quieter villages around the lake, but there’s still plenty to do, and it’s pretty easy to get to other places once you’ve figured out the ferry and train timetables. If you have bikes, the cycle north to Pisogne is flat, mostly car free, very scenic, and has cafes and bathing spots en route. Dario very kindly let us use his bikes one day. If you carry on up the steps past the apartment you can walk all the way up to the village of Zone, along an ancient track. From there you can climb to the top of Trentapassi. It’s a steep 4.5hr 10 mile hike from the apartment and back, so leave early to beat the sun.

A beautiful, clean and tastefully furnished renovated house with air-condition in every room. The view from the balconies is amazing! Dario, the owner, is very friendly, helpful and always available (whatsapp). The house is accessible only by foot (steps), which might be a problem for some people. Will definitely come back if we travel again to Lake Iseo.

Marone is not very touristy with a few number of restaurants and even a small chessel beach which is nicely situated and easy to reach by foot from Casa Gialla. The appartment is situated half way up the mountain with a quiet and peaceful little garden and a beautiful view over Marone and the Lago d'Iseo. The Casa Gialla has only been renovated very recently and the appartment is in very good order and has been decorated with beautiful furniture and a lot of taste. We stayed there for two weeks and spent an extraordinary vacation, which is in particular thanks to Dario and Donatella (and Chico, their little dog). Dario and Donatella are very nice people and incredible hosts, ready to help at any time with any question / ask that we had. We will definately come back next year :)

The stay at Darios apartment was wonderful. Nice decorated apartment with a beautiful few over lake iseo. Dario was friendly, gave us good tips for pizza place, hiking and more. We had a lovely week at lake iseo. Not as crowded as lake garda. A lot of nature and small Italien villages with all you need. Also Bergamo is nice to see and not far away. Thank you Dario :)

CasaGialla ist ein wunderschönes Appartement mit einer fantastischen Aussicht über den Lago d'Iseo. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und hell. Die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos, wir standen vor der Ankunft in regelmäßigem Kontakt mit Dario. CasaGialla bzw. Marone ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Für Touren etwas entfernt, ist der Bahnhof Marone schnell zu erreichen.
