Set a few steps from the shores of the Lake Garda, Hotel Conca d'Oro is located in Salò. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, a restaurant and a garden with an outdoor seating area. Great location. We parked the car, brought our bags to the lobby, and enjoyed a complimentary drink while they checked us in, and carried our bags to our room... very classy. They have a little bar on the lake, across the street, where there's a beach - we enjoyed swimming and walked the nice boardwalk that connects it to downtown Salo.
Located in Salò historic center and only 3 minutes’ walk from the shore of Lake Garda, Aromi Piccolo Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful, the home made breakfast very very good, the lake is just 2 minute walk, the wifi works without any problems... absolutely a 10 / 10. Would be back.
Located on a picturesque bay, right on the lakeside promenade, Hotel Vigna is in the historic center of Salò. Its terrace offers panoramic views out over Lake Garda. The staff was excellent, my wife had sprained her ankle and they treated her wonderfully!
Set in the historic city center on the lake front promenade of Salò, this 3-star hotel provides rooms with city views or with views of Lake Garda. The atmosphere of Hotel Benaco is warm and welcoming.... This is a truly wonderful hotel. The location is divine - right on the promenade. Our room looked out over the lake, and even the shower had a view! The breakfast was amazing, with eggs cooked to order if desired. The food at dinner was lovely too.
This elegant hotel overlooks Lake Garda, next to the port of Barbarano. You can relax in the lush garden and at the swimming pool with panoramic view. Brilliant hotel. Staff were amazing during the whole trip. We especially enjoyed David's G&Ts in the evenings. Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Great city on Lake Garda. Beautiful promenade along the lake with nice restaurants and shops. Best to park car and walk around. Papillon restaurant on the lake has great food. La Casa del Dolce, next to the duomo, has great gelato and pastries. Also, I highly recommend the Rivalta Hotel.
A nice place to stay on the lake. Lovely lakefront promenade. We ate at the Tip Tap which was standard fare but still typically Italian and decent and right on the lakefront. The Floriana Ristorante which was good. Had an amazing high end dining experience at the Antica Trattoria Alle Rose which I would highly recommend. But just strolling the promenade sitting at the many lakefront bars and restaurants having drinks and watching the world go by was extremely enjoyable. We have stayed in and visited what I would probably say were better places on the lake though I must admit. This is a lovely place to stay or to visit for a short break as the lake itself is so beautiful and enchanting. But in my opinion, Garda, where we stayed the last time we were here was a better place to base ourselves for day trips to the other stunning towns around the lake such as Bardolino, Sirmione, Malcesine and Riva del Garda...
Good shopping, waterfront cafes, plenty of restaurants and we had one of our best meals in Italy (Osteria Orologio) nice museum. Gorgeous setting. Everything is very walkable and the ferry stops here.
A truly magical spot in Lake Garda! Avoid the overcrowded tourist vibe of Simone, and escape to Salo! With fantastic shops and places to each, you can also continue to explore the side of the lake easily!
Not too big, not too small town. Just accurate to enjoy the atmosphere. Town is on the edge where there are mountains on the north and flat land with small hills on the south. You can really have all of those.
Well kept and clean old town with lots of eating facilities and some shopping. Long promenade directly along the lake shore. Port connects well with key places around the lake by speed boats (catamaran and hydrofoil). Friendly people.
The location on the Salò Riviera was perfect & the view from our balcony fantastic. The breakfast was very good; lots of fruits, pastries, breads, eggs made to order, meats & cheeses. Cereals, juices & coffee. The bar was open all day & the restaurant menu was great. We have booked another stay. The property was recently remodeled, clean & they were very accommodating. They speak many languages (I heard English, Italian & German and others).
Almost perfect, the location was amazing, right out onto Lake Garda. The hotel was very peaceful and ideal for a couple of quiet relaxing days. The room was very well furnished and clean. The balcony was a nice place to sit and look out over ths lake. The food coming out of the kitchen was very tasty. The restaurant is one of the nicest placea you could find to sit and have your evening meal. The staff couldnt be more helpful and were very polite and welcoming.
The so generous and warm welcoming staff, the quite neighborhood gives you the great start of your morning with your breakfast served at the front door terrace enjoying the view of Garda lake. Only 20 minutes away of amazing walk beside the lake to reach salo center for nice seafood dinner. If you need a ride or pick up to or from any bus stop inside salo just call them and they will be happy to help you for free.
A huge property close to lake Garda (can see the lake). I suggest best for families with active children :) or anyone who wants to get away from the city.. they have a pony!! Host is super nice, very helpful.. room was quite big, we had a kitchen and a private terrace.. very clean bathroom equipped with everything needed. Felt just like visiting family in Italy.
Spectecular accomedation. Wonderful view over lake Garda, beutiful room and the whole house is like staying in a museum with over thousand year old history. Breakfast excellent and restaurant on Michelin list. Natural swimming pool and over all great facility for everything. We loved it and would come back.
Massi and Erica (hotel owners) are fantastic and made my stay a wonderful one. It's a perfectly located in downtown Salò and is a 2 minute walk to the Lake front. Daily breakfast was great too. Will definitely return and I highly reccomend this place.
We stayed for one night to explore Salo. The hotel is well located and just 1 min walking distance to the waterfront. The room was also nice. We would stay here again.
The hotel was simply beautiful. An old villa intelligently redesigned to be a very comfortable hotel with lots of charm. The furnishings were spectacular.
Nice apartment with great facilities and a good view of the lake Close to the centre of Salo which is a lovely town on the west side of lake Garda
Wonderful hotel with nice staff. Perfect place to stop at when vision Lake Garda. A new favorit in the region, well worth recomending.
Breakfast buffet. View from balkony. Hotel surroundings and closeness to the water. Restaurant area .
Best spot in lake Garda that we visited. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.
Hiking into Salo was a highlight for me, through the forest past the waterfall and old church.
Beautiful and serene with a relaxed elegance. The best place we stayed on lake Garda.
Hotel clerk was so friendly & helpful. Even put out breakfast early for us. 👍
This is an outstanding property run by a very nice family. So much care has gone into the land, surroundings and buildings. It is an active small farm. Quite and peaceful. The staff and family are wonderful. The rooms are large and designed extremely well. I wished the menu was of more Italian flavors. The property is in the hills and overlooks Lago di Garda which is a great place to sun and swim. I highly recommend this property.
This is a wonderful small hotel. The owners, who are on site, transformed a ruined monastery into a world-class hotel. The effort that went into this renovation is breathtaking. The views of Lake Garda from our room and the various terraces are picture-postcard perfect. Our one night stay was absolutely restorative after a long drive from France. Would love to go back.
The bed was very comfortable and a wonderful buffet breakfast. Location fantastic.
amazing location! steps to the water and responsive host
