The apartment is easily accessible by both car and train. The Como Borghi and Como Lago train stations are located approximately 1 km from the apartment, while Como San Giovanni station (with connections to Switzerland and Milan Central Station) is about 2 km away on foot. The city of Como and nearby towns are served by ASF bus services; tickets can be purchased directly on the bus (cash only) or at authorized retailers such as the bus station in Piazza Matteotti, bars, and tobacco shops. Taxis are also available. Most of the city’s main points of interest, including the historic center and the lake, are within walking distance from the apartment. From the dock, ferries travel to Cernobbio, Torno, Bellagio, Varenna, Colico, and other lakeside destinations. Please note that during high season, long queues at the ticket office are possible. Tickets can also be purchased online at the “Navigazione Laghi” website. The nearest airports are Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, and Orio Al Serio (Bergamo). Shuttle transfers to and from the airports can be easily arranged for an additional fee.
