A big traditional family house in the hills close to Florence. A car is necessary, but the location is worth it. Very nice and helpful hosts. Cookies and home wine were on the table for us when we arrived. Home made olive oil came later. The whole family is involved and ensures that the guests have everything they need. Lots of cooking utensils, and a brand new microwave oven. A very good choice, we were happy to stay there. Easy communication, Samuele speaks English. Grazie ancora a Samuele e tutta la famiglia!

They graciously kept the restaurant open for us on our first night, understanding our unexpected travel situation and the fact that we were traveling with our young daughter, leaving us unable to eat earlier. They offer a homemade breakfast with a wide variety of options to choose from, and their homemade dishes are not only delicious but also prepared with great care and love. The staff members were fantastic; they provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and helped us navigate the area. We really enjoyed talking to them. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, with a beautiful garden that included a small slide, making it perfect for children. Every morning, our daughter had a blast there, collecting little stones and sticks.
