Our business is an award winning agri-tourism business in England. We have been in the same premises since 1876. We purchased our first Italian house in Isolabona ten years ago. We have seven houses in Isolabona, but currently we have only finished refurbishment of four of them. We use recycled materials and good antique furniture and art work in the houses. You can expect to find a very friendly village with easy walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Our ethos is to recycle and to have as beneficial effect on the community as possible. Our awards are for the design and finish of the buildings and for the best run rural tourist business in our area. We wish our guests to find the house ready for their special holiday or break. Good quality towels and linen are provided but we asj guests to bring beach towels for the seaside or for swimming in rock pools. Our bathrooms in the house are designed and built to a high standard of excellence, in harmony with the history of the house. Feature baths and sinks, you are likley to find stone or olive wood basins and high design baths and showers. The kitchens mostly have dishwashers and washing machines. We leave essentials in the kitchen jars. Toilet paper and hand soap are provided.

This is a large tall medieval town house from the 14th century, recently refurbished in the centre of Isolabona. With the benefit of a large roof terrace for sunset evening meals, and with a view to the mountains and to the castle. The first bedroom has ensuite shower and bath. The double height second bedroom has splendid chandelier and ensuite bath and shower. You will find beds made with clean linen and clean towels. 12 Liberale is full of romantic character. The kitchen has an ancient vaulted 14th century stone ceiling that, gives huge charm The old stone stairs can be difficult for very young children or people with limited mobility. Free Wifi. Hot water comes from the boiler on the upper terrace it is necessary to run the taps in the kitchen for a long time when you arrive ,as the water comes a long way. There is a small lower terrace with a street view off the lower bedroom. Please do not disturb the swallows in nesting season. The kids playground in the little park is free for all to use. Isolabona is a fortified village with a little Dorian castle atop, perfectly situated for trips to the beach or for wild swimming in the many river rock pools. A short trip to Menton or MonteCarlo. Just across the border from Nice airport. Things to do; rent cycles and ride the promenade, rent boats in Ventimiglia port, walk along the wonderous trails to nearby hill villages, eat at any of the wonderful Italian restaurants. Do not miss the Pizzeria a short walk from the houses. Slow food cooking guru of Italy declares the best pizza in Italy. Isolabona is an island surrounded by two rivers, no traffic in the middle of the village so explore the passagios. Famous Hanbury gardens nearby. Art trails will take you on an exploration from Renaissance to modern. Cezanne and Monet. Check the wonderful frescoes in the 15th Century Isolabona church. Old town of Pigna. Get into the wilds and marvel at the number of butterflies in the hill meadows. The shops in isolabona can hold their heads up to any in Paris or London for authenticity of the produce they sell. Wine tasting with Carlotta and Lucca in the village's very own micro-winery. The white Pigatto is beyond historic. The red Rossese is light dry. The village is still a working agricultural village so a real taste of Italy, flowers and florists fauna being the major industry. Isolabona is world famous for it's olive oil. It is the centre of excellence with the Cassini family holding many gold medals and awards. The climate here is perfect for olives, not too high, not too low, the right amount of sun and rain makes their small olives give the most wonderful flavour. The fountain in the middle of the village has been running non-stop since 1458. People come to fill up their drinking water bottles. The Bunda Bar, Caffe Del Harpe and the Piombo Bar give a choice of drinking and eating. Bruno's, Le Cian and Adolfo all give a local menu with Nona's recipe's. At non Riviera prices. Free Parking
