We booked a cottage beside the main building. It is quite spacious and well equipped. Good for family or a group of people of 4 to 6. There is one famous temple behind of the hotel. Quite value of money and the onsen is good .

Great quiet location but still close to Kawaguchiko centre. Plenty of free parking and the family who runs this business is hospitable and accomodating. They have aircon in the rooms and the rooms are spacious with clean tatamis. Very Japanese style and we can see the top of Mt. Fuji from our bathroom window. We came back to the hotel late once and the baths were about to close. We spoke with the owner and he happily extended the baths time an extra 30mins just so we could freshen up after a long day. For the price we paid, this was definitely a bargain. We will definitely return and we highly recommend you to stay with Nishimiyasou!

We stayed in the Cottage. It was big with kitchen with a table, living room space for traditional dine-in seats, and bedroom with beds on the mats in traditional Japanese style. The property is 2+ km from the kawaguchiko station, but close to the lake with amazing view. Unfortunately, we reached quite late, and therefore had to take a taxi to the place. But, next morning, we got dropped to the station. The elderly couple managing the property we're good people. The onsen was good too, and was open until 10pm. Highly recommend.
