Property info
Welcome to your perfect island getaway!
The bungalow is in Gingerland. A peaceful retreat that offers the ideal escape for up to 6 guests. With a spacious kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, and 2 full bathrooms, there's plenty of space to relax and unwind.
Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy your morning coffee on the back balcony, where you can soak in the lush, tropical surroundings and gentle island breezes.
Its perfect for families or groups looking for a relaxing escape.
If you need to come to the Nevis for a wedding, funeral, family reunion or just a short stay ... there aren't many options on the island to stay. This is a short walk (15 minutes) from the Golden Rock Hotel. Staying in a house, is a very cost effective option vs a hotel.
The house has been recently renovated. Tiled flooring throughout. Each room has just been painted in a single colour - either white or yellow, the exterior of the house has just been repainted peach/pink. There are screens on every window and door, which keeps out all mosquitos and flies. There is a fan in every bedroom, kitchen and the living room. The kitchen is very spacious and airy. You can sit outside on the balcony which has a view of the garden which has a lot of trees - coconut trees, banana trees, and the view of the playing field, or you can sit on the patio at the front of the house which is covered - so you can sit there even if its raining, and you get the mountain view.
Its a quiet, peaceful street. Friendly neighbours and very accessible to get to the local supermarket (Best Buy is a 10 minute walk), and easy to get into town by bus. The house has been constructed with british electrics - so its 3-pin plugs, and in each room there is at least one USB socket so you can charge up your electricals. There is speedy wifi throughout the house.
It's a peaceful, serene, relaxing place. You get a good breeze circulating through the house due to the location being the corner spot.
Neighborhood info
Gingerland is a pleasant community that has a Police Station, Health Centre, Secondary School and Best Buy Supermarket. There is a petrol station next to Best Buy and a Bar called 869 Bar which also does fast food (burger, chips, pizza, chicken). Best Buy usually have hot lunches for sale daily, and there is a Bar (Big Six) which serves food and drink just a few doors down from the Gingerland Police Station. The buses that go into town are fairly frequent e.g. every 15-20 minutes and the area feels safe.
